I’m Klyment. I am primarily a visual artist working with digital and small, medium, and large format still film, digital video, wood, and, soon, concrete. Together with my studio partner Janet I also help other artists with physical realization of their works by offering time and space for artists and “non-artists” to develop their ideas and by advising and equipping them with suitable lighting and acquisition equipment and comprehensively facilitating them with technical details and connections with collaborators. I am also responsible for our studio’s cost-effective deployment and maintenance of multi-gigabit fibre optic networking and petabyte-scale data warehouse that is capable of serving multiple motion picture editing projects simultaneously.
As a photographer I work primarily work with human and architectural subjects. I used to write a lot about every luminaire/film stock/chemical and digitization process/makeup artist/hairstylist/art director but now I don’t! Just phone/e-mail and I’ll tell you everything.
Reach me by phone at 7809037686 or by e-mailing me at k%klyment.com, replacing the %’age symbol with an @ symbol or we may converse over e-mail.
Studio, large format art printing facility, still film processing facility for roll film and up to 8×10″ sheets, and espresso bar by invitation a little north of Telus World of Science. We are neighbors with what I believe to be Western Canada’s oldest continuously operating recording studio and an automotive shop that’s regularly working on a variety of Porsche’s, Ferrari’s, and McLaren’s.
I would like to help improve all artists’ understanding of colour communication. If you are interested in colour please visit see this experiment and share your thoughts.
